Understanding the 3C Process

At First Christian Church we know that accomplishing our God given mission doesn’t have to be complicated.

So we’ve designed a simple three step process for “making disciple makers” called the 3Cs – Celebrate, Cultivate, and Communicate. This explains both our purpose and our process as a church. Check out this simple visual illustration of the 3Cs below.

A disciple of Christ is someone who worships, grows, and serves… someone who:

• Celebrates God in worship (Sun morning Worship Service),
• Cultivates Growth in smaller groups (Sun morning Study Groups and Wed Night Life Groups), and
• Communicates the Gospel in word and deed (regular service through one of our Impact Teams).

If it isn’t totally obvious… We want to be very intentional about this process because we believe it’s easy to lose sight of the goal… Put a bunch of sinful people together and you’re bound to get ‘mission drift’! So we are working hard to intentionally shape YOU, through the power of God’s Spirit, into a 3CLIFE kind of Jesus follower! (And, if you’ll notice by the dashed line… You get to help others participate in this process because anyone who does that is a ‘leader’! There is nothing more exciting than leading others to know the joy of following Christ!)
